Fort Collins bears a long history. It is the home of Native American tribes such as Cheyenne, Arapaho, Comanche, and Ute. The Fort Collins growth started after the Colorado War of the 1860s. Driven by agricultural growth, sheep farming and the development of feed, it has become the “Lamb feeding Capital of the World.”
