Albuquerque is a historic city. Its history dates back 12,000 years to Paleo-Indian hunter-gatherers. Around 1250, the Tiwa people arrived here, and by 1500, a 60-mile stretch of the middle Rio Grande Valley had around 20 Tiwa pueblos. The region was first explored by Francisco Vázquez de Coronado in 1540–41, and then by Juan de Oate in 1598. In 1821, Mexico took possession of the town, and in 1846, the US took control. Due to several development projects, Albuquerque prospered as a trading hub and US Army post. Albuquerque grew into a typical American small town in 1891. Snowballing in the early twentieth century, fueled by the TB treatment industry, and even faster after WWII as a significant scientific and military hub. Since the 1940s, the city has developed by focusing on decentralized, auto-oriented growth. In addition, officials have tried to encourage denser communities, downtown revitalization, and better transportation as the city has grown.

Albuquerque has several exciting attractions, such as art galleries, souvenir shops, small museums, and restaurants. When compared to simply visiting, living here will give you a better sense of what it has to offer, hence the reason you should buy a mobile home here. Albuquerque Museum of Art and History
Located on the outskirts of Old Town, this remarkable establishment provides visitors with an in-depth look at Albuquerque's history. It also houses a stunning collection of cultural relics dating back 400 years. It is a place where visitors can not only learn about Albuquerque's history but also about European settlement in the Southwest as a whole. The museum also hosts temporary exhibits and suits of Spanish armor, historic wood carvings, and art by Georgia O'Keeffe.

Sandia Peak Tramway
Even though they are not as high as the Colorado Rockies, the Sandia Mountains, which form a backdrop to the skyline to the east, are still quite impressive. The 2.7-mile suspended cable tramway takes you from the city's eastern edge to the summit. The rugged range's 10,378-foot summit offers spectacular views of Albuquerque. You can see for miles, and if you enjoy hiking, you can take the 7.5-mile La Luz Trail to the top and return by tramway.

Indian Pueblo Cultural Center
The Pueblo people have lived in New Mexico for thousands of years. However, many of the indigenous communities that existed before the arrival of the Spaniards have been replaced by others that are still flourishing. Located two miles away from Old Town, the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center features a fantastic museum and cultural events, talks, workshops, and tours that honor these still-thriving cultures and histories.

At least one of the traditional dances should be on your itinerary in Albuquerque. Pueblo Harvest Café, the on-site restaurant and bakery, is also worth noting for its delicious Native American cuisine.

Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta
Albuquerque's high desert environment is ideal for hot air ballooning. The International Balloon Fiesta draws hundreds of balloons and tens of thousands of people. Balloon rides and other events complete the festivities. About 500 hot air balloons take to the skies nine days every year during the first week of October for the Balloon Fiesta. The hot air balloons fill the cold morning skies, and after sunset, they glow against the night sky. They are visible throughout the city.

Additionally, there is a museum dedicated to this event. The Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum is open year-round and adjacent to Balloon Fiesta Park, where the main event occurs. The museum's permanent installations include a 4-D theater and a balloon school that offers children various science and art programs.
