This may start by finding relevant properties that will match the requirements of the buyer, including budget, location, and even features. The buyer's agents are in a position to access all kinds of property listings and market data, thus providing a clientele with valuable insights into this and other recommendations in making decisions.

    They also conduct market analyses to find the fair value of properties so that buyers can make intelligent offers without overpaying. They will also handle negotiations to obtain the best price possible for clients while securing good terms. This includes counteroffer management, ensuring that the buyer is at the forefront regarding interest in the property through the process of the negotiations as noted by Zillow in 2022.

    Buyers' agents also offer full support to buyers in the process of purchasing. They will assist the buyer in processing complex paper works, coordinate with other professionals involved in the transaction, such as inspectors and mortgage lenders, and advice them regarding various issues of buying a house. This ensures that interest is created among the probable buyers, making sure that the property will be properly presented to them.

    When offers are received, listing agents negotiate on behalf of the seller for terms most advantageous to them. They coordinate offer and counteroffer activities associated with closing the sale on the best possible terms for the seller. Listing agents are also involved in the administrative tasks associated with conducting a sale. These include preparing contracts, coordinating inspections, and dealing with compliance and other regulatory requirements (Realtor.com, 2022).

    Similar to buyer's agents, listing agents are bound by a fiduciary duty.
